These are great for keeping your dogs teeth clean, but just like most other Nylabone products it is meant for chewing not digesting. If your dog is biting chunks off and eating them, of course the dog will get sick and throw up. Most people don’t read the instructions. “To be used under supervision and not to be digested.” Any signs of pieces being chewed off, the product should be discarded. All breeds are different, and some are more aggressive chewers with greater jaw strength. As owners, it’s up to us to follow the recommendations of the product. My dog, a Maltipoo (who is an aggressive chewer) does fine on this product and other Nylabone products… but for extra caution, I supervise and replace them at first signs of distress. The cost to replace the product is far less than a trip to the vet. If you follow the instructions, the product does exactly what it promises to do… keeps my dogs teeth pearly white without expensive teeth cleaning procedures at the vet.

My dog is a tough chewer and she loves her new bullibones!!!
I purchased this yesterday(7/9/23) my pup(1.5yrs) enjoyed it at first but quickly became ill. She threw up for a good bit until this was out of her system. She has had other bones like this before but never has gotten ill like this incident. Sadly I give this product a 1 due to not being able to give 0 starts.
